Thread Title - TIPS HAD GOTTEN OUT OF CONTROL. OP is insinuating that us Hobbyists are paying more then we should and creating a situation. He even went as far as to say that if we all pay less then all MPA's going forward will expect less.

Has it? Are we Hobbyist getting cheap because of inflation?

There was an article re: Tipflation with regards to tipping at Restaurants. The machine now has a minimum of 15% (as opposed to 10% before). And there is even a button for 30%.

What do I think? I feel that we should always reward for GOOD service. Restaurants and of course Spas. If we as hobbyists feels that inflation had eroded our buying power, what about the MPA's? Do we expect them to work for less just because we want the same service now for less?

Numerous articles about how to deal with this. Mainly - eat out less if your Restaurant bills had gotten out of control. So, as hobbyists are we going to cut down our visits. @OG_funguy started a thread a while back asking "Has higher Costs affect our Hobbying habits" or something like that.

Restaurant one is interesting 15% on 30$ or 10% on 40$ equates to close to the same. So should Tip percent be decreasing If service is the same but base price is higher?

So I went to a spot in central Mississauga I normally don’t frequent, but the lady spoke super good English and seemed friendly so thought I would give it a shot.

The massage was standard, nothing special as was the ending. Happy And standard but nothing to really thinK twice about.

As I don’t hobby all that much anymore and the lady seemed super friendly I decided to tip 50$. At this point she looked at me in disgust and demanded I pay 70$. I put my 50$ back in my wallet and left without giving any tip.

Was she trying to push my generosity? This used to be 20$ tip before. And if not why do you guys keep paying this.

Wow....you walked out? Classy gent. Anyway women can charge whatever they want...its there bodies. The fee should be negotiated prior and if you don't want to pay just leave and go elsewhere. If its too expensive now then just go buy a sex doll or a mastabater. Lots of sex toys out there.

This post made me laugh. It’s a forum about rub and tugs I don’t think any of this is ‘classy’ nor any of us are gentlemen. Throwing the feminist lingo on top of that is just the proverbial cherry on top.

If fee is negotiated prior to any activity that’s great and up to her as the attendant to do. i agree much better for everyone to be clear on what costs are upfront.

If I could leave some advice though -
Perhaps spend a little less on them and more on yourself. Your grammar made my eyes bleed.

Last time I’m saying this. It wasn’t the amount asked it was the attitude with which it was demanded after an initial tip which most here have agreed was more then fair for services rendered.

You are correct I should have phrased that better. I was more asking if 70$ is the new normal for what she did. Doesn’t sound like it is. However, if guys hold the line on tips mkt should correct. And don’t let them play the poor card working 5 days a week with 5-6 visits a day assuming they get 0 from room fees And roughly 50$/visit in tips they are making 78-85k in CASH which is more then what the average household brings in.

And yes talking about class on here is rather funny. You then top this humor by insinuating that being a man has something to do with going to massage parlors and paying them whatever they ask. That is again rather humorous as the majority of guys going in here either can’t hold a relationship or are using this as a relief valve from their old lady’s which is the antithesis of what being a man is normally portrayed as being.

Finally - to correct your metaphor it’s like going to a restaurant, leaving a 30% tip when the expected is 15% and the waiter throwing a hissy fit that you didn’t tip 55%.

At most restaurants I think you can ask them to heat up the food more if it's not tongue searing hot

MPA making 78-85K in CASH - is that our concern? Why is that even a factor what they earned. They do things that a lot of ladies would not do. Some will work as cashier in a Supermarket for $15/hr. Some will work in Timmies for minimum wage in the morning shift. It is a choice they make.

They sacrifice their dignity to SERVICE US. Why? you said they play the poor card. Are you sure? Did you talk to any of them. Some of them are abandoned Single Moms with young children to bring up. Yes, some want to have a short cut to have luxuries in their life and willing to do what they are doing to make good COIN. Is that any much different that a Salesman selling their soul to make a sale, or those who are in a job that they hate but the MONEY is too good to pass up.

Please do not pass judgement on those of us willing to PAY MORE. It is our choice. Just like passing judgement of these ladies who do things that others might not do to make us HAPPY.

I am not passing judgement on you. All I can say is that if these ladies are making 75K a year and it bothers you that much then do not support them. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES.
