FYI. As of letter dated June 2, 2020, holistic (shiatsu, etc) licensed massage spas and body rub licensed spas and facilities are not allowed to operate in Ontario due to COVID-19 restrictions. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are allowed. Here is an official response from the Ontario government relating to Toronto, etc.

With respect to Massage Therapists, O. Reg 82/20 permits Regulated Health Professionals to provide service (subject to Schedule 3, Directive #2, Operational Requirements and regulated college guidelines).

Regulated Health Professions are a defined group within the Regulated Health Professions Act that among other things, require the RHPs to be governed in a particular manner by a college.

Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are RHPs and are permitted to provide services in the health care sector that are within their regulated scope.

However, holistic practitioners do need to be licensed by the City of Toronto and belong to a Professional Holistic Association; however, they are not governed by the Regulated Health Professions Act nor a professional college as contemplated by the legislation. Moreover, Holistic Services specifically excludes medical or therapeutic treatment performed by a person qualified, licensed or registered under provincial law.

Therefore, Holistic Practitioners are not Regulated Health Professionals and are not permitted to be providing services at this time. By extension, a Holistic Centre is also not permitted to be operating to provide Holistic Services.

In Mississauga, I'd say about half the places are open as usual. The "Open" signs are illuminated and many have the doors propped open so I presume you don't have to touch the door handles. At 888 Dundas Sunny Foot and the two Legit Asian places are all open. At Sunny Foot pretty much any goes. I drove by Bohemian Spa on Tomken and it is "closed" but clearly cars coming and going from the front of the place. I've stayed home but several regulars have made it clear that they'd meet me one on one is closed spa. So the business on smut and filth that we all love so much is slowly coming back to life.

I still say that at least half won't survive with back rent and continuing lost revenue. I'm saving $2k a month! What's the report from the East End? Are places opening up?

So I guess this means at Sunny Foot, you can open the door with your foot instead of your hands?

That's bizarre. That note was months ago when things were starting to open up after the first lock down yet it shows sent today. The only open place I've heard of is Tai Chi on Dundas. So out of the way no one sees you come and go. As well, some will meet you alone in closed places.

Now located at 3033A Hurontario just north or Dundas in the upstairs of a dumpy strip mall that used to be a MP called "Health Center" more than a decade ago. Pretty much all the girls there do just about everything. Never encountered a BBBJ there however.

I do well with her but others have said no FS. So we need others to report. Note Tai Chi seems t be open to walk ins! I guess the entrance is so discrete they're getting away with it. I'm hunkering down for a while with one exclusive one who is not working or seeing anyone else.

That said, I do get frequent texts from an MPA at another spa that is operating at regular capacity 3-4 girls on duty from a discrete alternate entrance. But shhh, I won't give that one up because I've actually gone there recently.

Texts from MPAs. Perfect. Does not draw attention to them beyond you and their other chosen few.
Private Messages from others. Again, perfect. Does not put anyone who is breaking the rules in danger of being caught.

ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT IN THIS PARTICULAR TIME, WE'RE LIVING WITH A DIFFERENT SET OF RULES.
DON'T DRAW ATTENTION TO THOSE WHO ARE SCRATCHING YOUR ITCH.
UNLESS YOU DON'T THINK LE CHECKS OUT THESE BOARDS FROM TIME TO TIME.
