I noticed business was good in most spas when things first open up then it's becoming quiet now. The lock down has hurt most people's income and business on the whole is slow. If the Delta variant cannot be suppressed by the vaccines = big trouble for all human.

We got lucky last year. After the first shutdown, we had almost everyone we loved back at their spas. I hobbied the most I ever had last year because I knew that the next shutdown would be a lot longer and would permanently force most of these ladies out of the rub and tug business. I was right and I hate it. I lament losing some of the best this industry had to offer but I don't want to live in regret. I visited spas like there was no tomorrow from July to November last year and on hindsight, I did the right thing. There really was no tomorrow waiting for us when the shutdown began in November.

That first shutdown was a shock for everyone, but since it was only 3 months people were better able to ride it out and jump back in. I did the same as you, I was going every other day that first month, plus several back-to-backs which I rarely did before. Then in November I sensed the shutdown coming and I went 6 straight days, thinking that would be it for a while. But then Lush opened and Samantha was running it, so I got comfortable doing the agency thing, then I branched out to other agencies, and now I could go either way. I assume many clients and providers feel the same now.

I posted elsewhere on here a similar sentiment about spas and agree for sure.
Consistency is key for me. Somewhere like comfort foot spa I know what I'm getting for my dollar each time. And a decent massage out of it. $100 all in for an hour with a great tease and HJ and I'm happy.

For more its a crap shoot. Even when I hit up spas for regulars sometimes the services changes depending on the day the MPA has had. It's way less consistent. Plus the pricing changes that seem to hit everywhere.

I'll head back to popular spas eventually but figure let things settle for now.

I'm in the same boat. Had been to Green River spa today 381 bering ave. Another disappointing experience. Ugly looking early 40s woman wearing a coat! I traveled quite a distance so didn't want to go back and she was the only one working there. It was good she covered her face with mask so I didn't see her face when she was Jack hammering me. Longing for a decent massage with a young okay looking mpa in Mississauga. Thinking of moving to escort girls but that will put an end to a good massage hitting the knots right with a sensual tease

I'm curious. How so? It's slim pickings in the big chains and I really don't frequent the predominantly Asian joints because I'm Asian myself. I may be jumping the gun though and could be wrong about all this. Maybe it's just a slow but progressive build towards normalcy. Maybe they'll get back these girls. Maybe they'll hire better ones. For now, I'm just not interested.

I just can't get into the escort thing. The booking, the weird feeling of stepping inside a hotel and knocking on someone's door. I've very rarely gone the escort route and when I did, I never spared any expense to ensure I got quality. I also kept the repeat list very small because I'm very averse to risks when it comes to the SP industry.

I guess Lush is worth a try if it's an agency made up of MPAs whose services we've been accustomed to and wouldn't be much different despite a change of setting. The overall relaxed and pampered experience at the spa though, is what I'm afraid of losing if I were to see these girls elsewhere.

We've already pointed out all the obvious things that have been permanently damaged beyond any repair thanks to these lockdowns. The economy, small business, mental health, cognitive development... blah blah blah. The spas are some of the biggest casualties of that government overreach. Most of the best girls in the industry have either retired or ventured into other endeavours within the sex industry (OnlyFans, escorting, sugar daddy etc.). Flirt Spa, my favourite chain, seems to have been hit the hardest as they appear to be on the biggest freefall roster-wise. Since they announced reopening, some of their most reputable providers didn't return. In fact, more and more of them continue to disappear from their website each day. Based on the reviews, their new ladies seem to be clueless hacks. Something tells me that the new wave of "talent" will negatively rub off on the trusty veterans who are still there and their service will deteriorate altogether. Flirt has now lost its identity as the GFE spa. I think COVID has slowly forced them to transition into SRM territory.
