Assuming true, OP could have been infected long time ago (eg. last year)....the virus could have been dormant and only now it just happened to appear. So it could have been anywhere not just Flirt or Premier as he stated.

It doesn’t lay dormant in your body for years and decide to just pop up on your wedding day from a slide you got 4 years ago. A blood test for herpes isn’t accurate because the virus hides in your body when a person is not having an outbreak, but just cause it normally lays dormant in your body during that time doesn’t mean that’s what happens when you first are exposed to it.
