Are you just guessing this? Have you studied the epidemiology to see if this is the logical next course of action? If cases are increasing in schools what good will shutting down nail salons do? If cases increased because of weddings, bbq’s and large gathering at the bar, what good will shutting down barbers do?

shutting down businesses will mean more people needing assistance. The government won’t do that unless necessary. This looks like a new surgical approach to containment and not a blanket shotgun approach to avoid wider economic setbacks.

It's an assumption that if cases continue to increase and there are cases being reported at nail/hair/RMT(similar to MP) that it would be a logical next step.. I doubt that anyone would say that they have visited MPs or work at an MP to public health if they get covid, which is why I'm assuming. MP aren't taking any contact tracing measures (well. Possibly Premier with their new mandatory phone number verification)

Same with schools - as case numbers increase form schools - they would look at scaling back to online based vs in person.

Strip club is a dying industry with abundant of spas here and there. This may be a final nail to the coffin. Sometimes I find the politicians trying to use the covid as a way to shove their political agendas down their constituents throats (i.e. bike lanes, closing of strip clubs). I get that it is important to get the students back to school but not ok with 20+ students stuff in the classroom like before.

I am not worry with the spas shut down near the future. Some will go underground. Sure the choices will be limited and possibly more expensive but if you know where to look, you will find decent ones out there.

If you are being nice to your favourite mpas, you will get their contact information. Some will let you know where they are working should the spas are forced to close.

This is true. I met with a regular of mine after the reopening of spas, and she let me know that she is going to start seeing a limited amount of people outside of the spas. And that if there is a 2nd waive of lockdown that we can still meet up

In all honesty if there ever was a spread from a SPA does any one actually think they the SPA owner, MPAs and or clients would be truthful about it? This isn't like the strip club. Everyone would keep their mouths shut and be sick in private.

It may not be a bad idea for people to try and make an arrangement like this with one of their favourites in case they close the spas. It benefits both parties. A win-win as it were. I have such an arrangement, and have had, since before the first spa lockdown. Even if the lockdown never happens you may reap the rewards anyway.

Oh I agree. Just know that no mayor or premier is going to state that all these wonderful spas are no better than a strip joint. They are not going to paint Lucky-Lucky rub and tug with the same brush as the spa one's wife attends for some personal solace. Nope not gonna happen.
