Somewhat related to this thread so I thought i'd share. I joined the hobby a lot younger than a lot of people and have never told anyone about it. Basically lacked basic human interaction due to needing to get a proper education and helping support my immigrant family. I sacrificed a lot of personal connections because I was just so focused on making money.

it's been a few years in the hobby now and i haven't told anyone. last year I traveled to SE Asia with a few close coworkers. so many of them got services from the working girls there. I went with a large group and i would say about 90% of the men got those services. some weren't ashamed of it and told the group publicly. some others told me separately cause they needed someone to tell and i'm a trustworthy guy obviously. i didn't tell them about my outings cause some of these guys are blabbermouths and would spread that shit. one guy has been the butt-end of some of his adventures so i'm glad i didn't spill my history.

The MP texting you to come see her at work is their form of advertising. Nothing more. If she invites you to see her at her home, gives you the cell number that her friends have (these girls all have a personal and a work phone), gives you her real full name, and stops taking money from you, then and only then gave you crossed the line from customer to more. I often have gotten 3 of the 4, but still leave cash when we are done. That is the best of all worlds. You actually have a real-seeming sort of thing away from the industry but by still keeping it transactional there’s none of this nonsense of a real relationship so no strings and nothing owed emotionally.
