I have no doubt it's DG's writing. While every attempt to write down a story must be appriciated, whether nice, good, perfect or even bad, if someone would cut/paste a story from someone else, for sure a more exciting one would have been chosen.

Judging by his signup date asking for first visit info.. Then a TR from 'end of winter' it all seems logical..

As to the Cut and Paste argument.. I dont think there is much defense room for posting other peoples comments without acknowledging it (a la Diz's post above) but that doesnt seem the case..

The second thing I would say is that presented differently I think many would take to the story better.. It is the whole "it was a hot steamy night" starter that turned too many regulars off.. Basically we have heard or lived it so the creative writing class was of less interest.. If he prefaced the flowery text with "heres what I thought on my first run through ther mangle" then I bet he would have had a 180 degree different response..

The remark about the introduction paragraph is an interesting one.
I wanted this story to look like the typical nightlife’s Stickman submission, but I also wanted to do something different and more personal, that could appeal to newbies as well to expats/regulars.
Some people wrote to me that they have been sucked in from the beginning, but I can understand some other got a déjà vu feeling;

I’m puzzled also about a remark about “End of winter 2007” being confusing. Accordingly to Cambridge dictionary, “winter = the season between autumn and spring, lasting from November to March north of the equator”. So where is the confusion?

DIZBUSTER you made many valid points. Me too, I can’t understand the behaviour of some people on forums. For example, ALFIE, he stated in his first comment that “Sorry, but I lost interest after the 1st line...” So, can someone explain to me why he came back many times on this thread?

Someone on this site has taken the initiative to gather the 2 separated threads (part 1/3 and part 2/3) into one. What a pity, I lost a chance to know how many people actually read my story! I admit I should have spoken to the administrator of this forum about this before, but I’m not very familiar with forum and their rules.

Many thanks to IRISH JONY for screwing up the instalment of part 3/3. Why hurry so much? Could be the behaviour of a premature ejaculator.
