yeah ok. This is a bit unsubstantiated and we probably don't need to spread rumours without like actual proof. And STIs can be pretty silent and odor isn't an indication of someone having an STI or not.

REGARDLESS, people participating in this hobby should get tested regularly - either as a provider or as a customer. Even in the semi spas. STI testing **AND** treatment is free and confidential for us here in ontario. So really no reason not to get tested regularly.

I think I've heard of vaginal odor being caused by BV before - and it can be bad. I know that some things like Gonorhea can cause a slight smell but not as bad as BV. Chlamydia can also cause an odor.

As for any risks - physical contact is risky. Even in a legit environment you can transmit stuff like scabies. Even with no symptoms, all of us participating in this hobby should get tested regularly.

and, generally speaking, getting an STI isn't a death sentence. Treatment for things are available, except maybe HIV (although that can be managed, and I think some new treatments can handle it very effectively). It's good to get tested and treated. Also, I think all the ladies should get the HPV vaccine since basically 75% or more of the population will get/be exposed to it. Yes, many people recover 100% from it eventually, but women can get cervical cancer even if HPV is eventually eradicated by the body.

These vaccines are approved for use in females aged 9-45 years and males aged 9-26 years. Cervarix® provides protection against the two HPV types that cause approximately 70 per cent of all cervical cancers (HPV-16 and HPV-18).

HPV vaccine is covered by OHIP. I don't know how expensive it is if you don't have OHIP. Getting the HPV vaccine
