It's been a while since I've hit the MP's, so I decided to try new places not far from where I live.
1. 16th Ave. Health Spa
This is located on Hwy #7, just east of Bayview, on the south size in a strip mall. It says "open" on the door, and it was unlocked, so I walked into the hallway, only to be greeted hesitantly by a chubby, but not bad looking oriental lady. I asked her about the cost of a massage, and she surprised me by answering .."we don't do that anymore". I answered point blank, I'm not a cop so you have nothing to be nervous about, and she then said..."I don't know you, sorry, you have to go somewhere else".
Wow, the recent raids have really scared the crap out of these people. And I really don't look like a cop, at least I don't think so.
2. Millenium Spa, Wilmot strip mall, EBC area. You can see it when driving by on Leslie. I rang the bell and waited for what seemed like 5 minutes, and giving up began walking away when suddenly there was a click at the door. I walked back and pushed the door open and was beckoned inside by a "nothing special" oriental lady. I asked about the cost of a massage and was told $40 for 30 minutes. She wanted me to go to a room, but I insisted on confirming it was a "total body massage", and she refused to answer, but insisted it was for "massage only". Now everybody knows the language, and I am not going to take a chance having someone rip me off for more money for the standard release, so I walked out. Another example of paranoia among the MP's in this area.
3. Nagoya Spa, Wilmot strip mall, EBC area. Located a few units down from Millenium. After ringing, I was allowed in much more quickly than at Millenium, and by a much cuter oriental (Michelle), with pleasant face but a size A on top. She confirmed $40 for 30 minutes, and as soon as we got into the room, asked me if I wanted extra services. It was the opposite attitude of Millenium, and in fact during the whole session I was declining her upsells, except for topless, an extra $20 which I find to be good value. So for $60 total I got the proper massage with release and topless. The girl was chatty, and difficult to understand through her accent, but very friendly, and she gave an excellent massage, not as good as Tuina, but good nevertheless for an EBC mp.
