Three arrested on prostitution charges at CT massage parlor

NAUGATUCK - Three women were arrested on prostitution charges after a police raid on a massage parlor Wednesday afternoon.

Naugatuck detectives executed a search-and-seizure warrant at the Maple Massage at 1177 New Haven Road.

“The search warrant stemmed from an investigation that was initiated after this department developed information that patrons were paying for sex acts at the business,” police said.

“During the lengthy investigation which was led by Naugatuck Detective Thomas McGarvey, evidence was gathered that employees would accept cash in exchange for sexual acts.”

Detectives arrested Lijie Zheng, 52; Zuohua Wang, 44; and Kun Liu, 50.

Liu and Wang were charged with prostitution of a person 16 or over and conspiracy to commit/prostitution person 16 or over.

Zheng was charged with permitting prostitution and promoting prostitution second-degree.

The three were all held on a $10,000 bond
