It's been a while since I've gone to a new spa but decided to check out Oriental Spa at 2088 Yonge Street at Manor Rd. just a few blocks south of Eglinton on the West side beside Timothy's Coffee.

It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise since I met an MPA there I hadn't seen for several years. She goes by Monica but I'm pretty sure that wasn't her handle several years ago.

Basically this is MILF spa with the girls being between 28-35 according to Monica but as most of you know a 45 year-old Asian can often pass as a lot younger so I can't say how old they really are and Monica was the only one I saw there. She told me there are usually two girls on and there are about 5 girls working there through the week.

The normal $40 door fee is $35 during the opening special. It's all within limits as far as I know. YMMV. I love Monica. She's slim and busty and 'girly' meaning that she has a sweet flirtatious temperament and a good funny bone. She also has a very nice touch. I must have seen her 30 time or more back in 2006. I can't speak for the other girls but if you like slim, busty MILFs then you may enjoy Monica. When I think of her other name from before I'll let you know.

Be aware that the spa is closed on Sunday.

Based on the review by hd, went to see Monica this afternoon.

Pretty much exactly as described, good English - not always the case for those from Macau - and stereotypically massive Asian erasers. Friendly and flirtatious as promised, natural C/large B.

Repeat? Definitely with Monica, however, I did not like the hallway walk past someone's boardroom - fortunately not in use - nor the very public shared entrance. Two kitchen workers from the restaurant were having a smoke break as I walked out.

Yes, Soup is right. I've been there twice now and once you get upstairs you do have to walk right past a board room but I suspect the board room is rarely in use. I've also not had a problem with the entrance but that's because the restaurant next door has removed the outside seating. I'm not sure I can imagine going there in the summer with people sitting outside. But the connection between that door and the spa is not strong. I might suggest to Monica that she remove the sign on the door saying 'open' and the hours. If that's removed it's just a door and it's unlikely any restaurant patrons would connect the door to a spa.

I think there's a menu but I'm a long term previous client from another spa and my approach at spas is always the same. After the door fee, I put a tip down on the table and let things unfold naturally from there. Girls usually have some idea about how to make you feel good and if they don't I might make a suggestion. But I'm pretty sure $40 would be considered a nice tip. And, if you saw one of the posts above, the mention of large erasers should give you some idea. HD

The rear exit just avoids the waiting room - takes you to the same hallway.

Actually, no. I parked in the back when I went there on Saturday and just up the outside stairs the door leads to the back end of the spa. There is outside signage so you can figure out which stairs. That way you can completely avoid the 'boardroom' and the front entrance. But I think that's for regulars. It would probably be a good idea to phone first if you were using the back door. Probably the first time you should just go in the front entrance and then arrange to use the back door once you know her or whomever.

I should add that I called her before I came on Saturday and she invited me to use the back door and park there since it was more convenient when Yonge is so busy on Saturday. But that won't be a parking option through the week since I was using some doctor's parking spot who doesn't work weekends. By the way, the Timothy's Coffee shop downstairs is very pleasant. HD

Saw Monica about two weeks ago. Called first, made an appt. at noon, when she was to arrive. No one else there when I arrived, she was chatting with the other masseuse in the back and just waved me in.

Massage was as described and a $20 tip on top of the $35 room fee gave me a very enjoyable session, though I should have left my tip a little more visible.

A nice lady but not sure if I'll repeat. In my neighbourhood, though, so if I'm feeling lazy, I may try to see if there is someone else there. Wouldn't be upset to see Monica again, esp. for the price, but would just like to see who else is out there, esp. since I haven't visited any of the other places in the Yonge/Eglinton/Mount Pleasant area yet.

Yeah, you might find Monica warms up even more on the second visit. That's what I've found especially with the older ones who are probably a bit more prudent with a first-timer. No info on anyone else there though I saw their ad on backpage.com and there's mention of a Stephanie.

I was talking more generally, Monkeyshines, as I've found that the older girls are a bit more cautious with new guys and they often just get a lot warmer on subsequent visits. Regarding Monica I've known her for a few years (as mentioned in my first review post above) so it's hard for me to judge how she is with other guys. But she's a sweetheart and that probably becomes more evident as one gets to know her. But maybe age compatibility is a factor. I'm an older guy and I like the older girls; we can hit it off more easily. They also give better massages, etc. HD

Based on the reviews here, I went to give Oriental Spa a try today. I can't say that my experience was as great as the OP and others here. But Monica wasn't around. The only MPA available was a relatively new girl named Susan, who spoked little English. I think she's in her 20's, but not much to look at and has a few extra pounds on her, but I figured maybe she makes up for it in skill. Not so much. Massage skills were clumsy and it ended with a jackhammer release after I declined the upgrades.

The lesson to be learned here? Stick to recommendations.

And I think I'll stick to the higher-end spas from now on. Quality is way too inconsistent in the cheap, little rub-and-tugs. There are no diamonds in the rough.

Having read this thread, I decided to goto this place. As described, little shop just south of eglinton on the west side. a few stores south of timothys coffee.
went up the stairs an past the board room. the name of the spa on the door was sun-sun. the door was opened a crack and locked with a chain.

I asked to see who else was there, and the other person offered was perhaps same age maybe slightly younger, but not any better looking.
