The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship (MINT) has announced that the Market Inspectorate has temporarily closed 9 massage centers, which were operating in violation of the law.

"Today, during the evening hours, the Market Inspectorate, within the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Trade, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police (Directorate for the Investigation of Human Trafficking) and the inspectors of the Tax Administration of Kosovo have carried out joint inspections in 17 locations in Pristina, where massage centers were the target, in order to verify the legality of their activity", says the MINT announcement.

In the announcement of the ministry, it is stated that as a result of these inspections, the Market Inspectorate has temporarily closed 9 premises where the activity of massages was carried out.

Further, it is announced that economic operators who, in violation of the law, exercise their activity, will be pronounced punitive measures according to the law in force.
