A Lee County deputy has been fired after an internal investigation found a massage therapist performed a sexual act on him during a paid massage this summer.
Deputy Pierre Sicard, who worked in the jail, was let go on Aug. 7 for improper conduct, according to a Lee County Sheriff's Office report released Monday.
A co-worker said Sicard told him in late June that he had received a "happy ending" from a massage parlor in Cape Coral. Sicard said he paid $70 for the massage and left a $30 to $40 tip.
Sicard told the co-worker the "masturbation was not sexual in nature" but described it as a "great form of stress relief," according to the documents.
When confronted by internal investigators, Sicard described his conversation as "just man talk," but agreed he may have violated prostitution laws. Sicard was fired following a short internal investigation, with officials saying his behavior "causes further concern for the respect he has as it pertains to the laws of the county, state or nation."
