San Diego — A man wearing a ski mask robbed a Kearney Mesa massage parlor at gunpoint Monday night, police said.

The suspect, in his late 20s to early 30s, walked into L’amour Spa on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, west of Convoy Street, about 9:40 p.m., Officer Dino Demilitros said. The man brandished a gun, demanded money from an employee and left with an undisclosed amount.

The massage parlor was still open at the time. According to online information, L’amour Spa closes at 11 p.m. daily.

The man was described as 5 feet and 10 inches tall, and bout 180 pounds, wearing dark clothes.

Robbery detectives were investigating.
