it is a conscious desire to become malay, and learn to be one in solidarity with the indigenous minority. after all why should one be loyal to one's race when we have become alienated to its language and culture in a post-colonial situation where English and Chinese language is spoken in majority and the indigenous culture is losing its ability to assert its relevance to our mostly globally imported so called culture via mass media and foreign art etc...so legally is it possible if one wishes to change one's race in Singapore?
