Hidden cameras and microphones - Hands From Heaven & Palladium - rumors? How likely?

Ok, there are PM rumors going around TERB board that there are several spas out there run by some twisted minded people, and they actually have microphones in rooms and some of the rooms have actually cameras behind those mirrors. The guy mentioned Hands From Heaven, and Palladium. Apparently few girls that found out were told it is for security reason and is only stored for 24 h and is low res. Sounds fishy. The weird thing is I heard something similar at one point but years ago. How likely is this?

Very unlikely for the simple reason that should the place be raided then they've just made the work of LE a lot easier if they have tapes.

At some of the sketchier incalls, could be possible since the actual business owner might be harder to track down. At an established spa, especially the bigger ones, not worth the risk for them.

This is quite common in Massage parlors in Europe. You can spot hidden cam behind mirror if you touch mirror with your hand.

My friend bought a hidden camera detector from a security shop in TO and scanned a room at (not sure if i can say the name of the spa). The scan picked up a suspected camera in the room. Now these detectors are not 100% accurate but he told me that no matter where he was in the room, the device always identified the same spot. He wasn't able to fully investigate because the girl walked back into the room.

Strip clubs have cameras in the private rooms so there should be no surprise that a spa would have them. Thinking about these cameras kinda ruins the experience for me i must say.

After reading this post I became a little paranoid,so every time I go to any spa I check the room for anything suspicious where a camera can be hidden.I don't want to be on candid camera.

It is against the law to have cameras. If they have cameras and the law finds out they will risk loosing their license. That being said if you are worried about being caught than get out of the hobby.

Or just do what is legal under C-36. Bylaws can not be enforced as Vaughn massage won twice. Years ago city of Vaughn wrote a bylaw that prevented nudity and in 2014 restricting the hours for a 9PM closing. Both were held invalid in Court since being naked was perfected legal and forget the argument to extend closing until 2AM. The judge pointed out bylaws can not limit what is legal under the criminal code.

That has been an issue for decades in Toronto strip clubs vs Mississauga and dear former elder Mayor Hazel where she stated it is better to have things in the open vs underground which is why my favorite nude-reverse is on the website menu and in the Spas since totally legal. Likewise, most of the higher touch/mileage strip clubs are in Sauga not City of Toronto which has a restrictive bylaw but if challenged might not be upheld.

In B.C. the issue is the ABC which if have liquor license restricts strip club contact. Fortunately, Ontario ABC has no such restriction.

The minute you approach these spas, either in the parking lot or outside their door, you're on camera. I doubt there's anything in the rooms themselves, but you can bet you're being videoed and recorded at the front desk. That's how they identify good and bad clients.
