Bad experience at SRM

When you pay for 40 minutes at $50 you expect to get the attendant for the full 40 minutes - and that she's mentally there, do you not?

Recently, earlier in the week I dropped by one of the two SRM locations after 12am, chose an attendant based on availability at the time.

I usually have nothing but great things to say about SRM - it's no wonder they're considered one of the city's top high-end spas. I wish some of their attendants could be said the same, particularly this one attendant who I shall not name publicly as I do not want to tarnish her reputation.

Anyway, long story short - attendant was more interested in me massaging her when I clearly paid for the BS. She even dozed off several times on the bed complaining how tired she was and how long her shift has been. She kept openly glancing at the clock counting down the minutes until her off time - going as far as vocally saying it outloud. "Only so and so more hours until I'm out of this place." Gee, thanks, good to know you're mind's elsewhere rather than here, what am I paying you for again?

I'm thinking, wtf? I paid $50 door fee and will be paying $100 to watch a girl sleep and complain about her shift? Seriously? All the other girls I've had sessions with SRM never did this to me, ever! This particular MPA only massaged me for a good 10 minutes, the rest was all me, she even tried to get me to finish at the 20 minutes mark. I had to tell her to slow down as we had a lot of time left.

This could be an isolated incident but it's made me rethink twice about heading back to SRM and randomly choosing a girl based on what's available at the time. At the very least, Dr. Joy should reiterate to her employees that if you're not 100% there for a paying client, I'm sure there are other girls who would be willing to.

I was very disappointed and I wish I didn't spend the $100 on this particular MPA at SRM. There was no review on this particular MPA here on massageplanet.net. I TOFTT and paid for it - clearly in disappointment. Clearly, I didn't tip her as the effort was not completely there, in fact - I was glad my 40 minute session was over in the end, I didn't want to stay if all this MPA wanted was to go home and sleep. I left feeling kind of ripped off of my money...=(

If I openly voiced my fatigue at my work place, my manager would tell me work harder or go home and get more rest next time. If I repeatedly did it, and fell asleep in front of a visiting client (like in this case with the MPA), well let's just say I won't allowed back to work ever again.

Forgetting to coach the girls on what to say when they are tired?
The problem is with the attendant

I think the girl felt some kinship with you instead of the usual jerks.
She didn't feel she needed to put on an act

Why not, end the poor experience politely, leave a small tip and speak to on site management.

Required: name of MPA to help othes out and that will help her too or she'll be moving on.

The last time I posted a negative review of a girl from SRM, I was criticized heavily. I think the mods even removed it. All I did was post an honest review (with the girls name).

This is perhaps why some people are cautious about revealing a name from SRM.

Is 12am not considered nighttime? I agree that it is wrong to assume that the OP was talking about Veronica, but your reasoning is wrong. If she works nights, and her quote was that ""Only so and so more hours until I'm out of this place." Chances are if was a night shift girl that said it.

It was not Veronica - I've already indicated to some people who PM'd me who it was. I came at around 2am. Heh, adding insult to injury, I remember waiting for 15 minutes. Should I have done what most people do? Walk out and get my room fee back if they keep me waiting for more than 5 minutes?

Ugh, it's been a week and some days now and I still feel ripped off, I gotta say this has been my worst experience ever in the MP hobby.

It sounds like you were having a bad session anyways; The fact that you got cheated out of a few minutes doesn't make much difference. Let it go and move on. I've had some less than amazing sessions at SRM too but the place definitely more hit than miss.

No matter how much time you imagine SRM Management spends monitoring massageplanet.net and other boards, the only way to be sure they know how unhappy you were with your session is for you to tell them. They can't fix what they don't know about, and your resentment will just gnaw, because you've ducked the real issue by complaining only to us instead of where it can do some good. Send that email (Be polite) and give them a chance to show they deserve their rep. Everyone—'cept mebbe the MPA—will feel better.

SRM wouldn't be open until 4am if there attendants didn't want to, if anything I would think their MPA would have a say in what time they want to work instead of being forced to. That's no excuse to rip customers who come after 3am... =/

Anyway, I've contacted Micron regarding my issue, I don't know Dr. Joy's user name on massageplanet.net - can someone help me out regarding that? Thank you.
