Now that we're a year into this, just wondering what portion of us actually had COVID in that time. Many of us have been out there visiting MPs/SPs, but I've seen people here and on other boards that have stayed away completely, and even bashed others for still going, traveling between regions, etc.

I barely took a month off during the first lockdown. By mid-April I was plumbing the depths of LeoList (ugh), then when the spas opened in June I dove right back in like nothing changed. I've barely had a sniffle since then.

The poll is anonymous, and will stay open so you can change your vote if things change.

I'm sure I had it early in pandemic. All the symptoms checked out. And after the 14th day, it suddenly disappeared. My whole family had it. My kids bounced back a whole lot quicker than me.
At the time, if you only had mild symptoms, the official instruction was to stay at home and quarantine. There was no point in getting tested if the symptoms weren't severe.

Pretty much followed Health guidelines as best I could. I hobbied 3 times the last 11 months and 2 the last 3 weeks. Last one being 5 days ago, I guess too early to say. *knock on wood*

Yeah I remember that. It got to the point where the mods had to post a sticky thread telling all the COVID Karens to STFU, and they even banned a few users that just couldn't help themselves. Meanwhile I went to Seduction and Premier on the last days before they closed and the first days they reopened.

Yup this is what I thought as well and one of my neighbor had it too, we might of had it way way before all this fearmongering set in, because I had the same symptoms diarrhea, breathing, coughing etc this was nothing like the flu that I experienced before and this was around January of 2020 doctor took some blood tests and couldnt figured it out what it is. Keep in mind this was way before the covid test even exist and Health Canada doesnt have a clue what it is. You should do a blood test just to make sure you had it. I will do one soon and report back.

There is talk of a third and fourth wave of the virus. With the mutations what you are probably going to see is this is going to become an ongoing thing and there will likely be an annual shot similar to the annual flu shot. As for me, I have been out to see about 4 girls this year, not because I was afraid to go out but when I tried to book someone they would be booked or not working. Haven't caught it or if I did it was so small I didn't even know. Actually I never even caught a sniffle all year this year, and I didn't get the flu shot, I have never gotten the flu shot.

3 out of 4 members of my household got COVID-19 during the second wave. Without going into details, one of us is a front line health care worker who got infected before the government had much vaccine supply, and infected the other 2.

The symptoms were all over the place, one person - barely any symptoms, and they passed within a few days. On the other end of the spectrum (me), got pretty much every symptom you could experience. For the first few days, it was manageable by taking over-the-counter medication for pain and fever. The worst part was difficulty breathing. I've never experienced that before and have no desire to again.

Luckily, everyone recovered and we are all back to normal. But I can understand 100% why we are being told to stay at home. I don't like it anymore than the next person, but trust me you would like COVID-19 a lot less.

I didn't get it, not that I know but I did meet someone who had it as well as the persons family. There are 4 of them all together. From what he told me is that you would never know the kids had it. Him and his wife were tired a lot and they both lost smell and taste for a period of time. He said the worst thing about it was they had to stay home for two weeks and trying to entertain his kids for two weeks was hard. After two weeks or so the kids went back to their normal routine, the two adults were still tired for a bit longer but eventually everything back to normal. It effects different people differently.

I hope all the denyers like Ursula and the rest of them start learning that it's not a hoax.
